Nature of Counselling
There may be both benefits and risks while participating in counselling, whether online or in person. Counselling may improve your ability to relate with others, provide a clearer understanding of yourself, your values, and your goals. Counselling often leads to better relationships, solutions to specific problems, and significant improvement in feelings of distress. Since counselling may also involve discussing unpleasant aspects of your life, you may also experience uncomfortable feelings.
However, there are no guarantees of what you will experience, and you agree that you use Enso Counselling services at your own risk. You agree that you understand the possible advantages and disadvantages of therapy and shall not hold Enso Counselling accountable if the results of your therapy are different from what you expected.
Payments
All payments related to your session at our Enso Counselling must be made at the end of each session. You will be provided with a receipt as an acknowledgement of your payment, if you choose.
We require all by-phone and online counseling session fees to be paid in advance before counselling takes place. Services will only begin once your payment has cleared.
Schedule Changes and Cancellations
We set aside time for you for any scheduled appointments you make and thereby request that any notification of cancellation or any changes in schedule be given at least 24 hours before a scheduled appointment is set to take place. For all scheduling changes, we require a minimum notice of 24 hours.
Referrals
Enso Counselling is dedicated to providing professional care of the highest standards and will do their best to serve you. However, if at any point in time your therapist finds that she is no longer able to continue being effective in helping you, she will make every possible effort to find an appropriate professional to refer you to.
